At La Rusticana d’Orsa, all of our wine making experience flows towards one goal ~ crafting elegant, limited release wines worthy of your table.

Along our terraced vineyards, Frank Dorsa and his team employ traditional techniques to create their award winning wine. The grapes are carefully harvested and delivered to Mt. Eden Vineyards for fermentation and bottling. Only our special wines carry a Dorsa family name. These wines are made by blending the top barrels of the vintage into the premier statement of the season.

Our award-winning Cinque, which in Italian means “five” is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. The concept is not to have one of the varietals dominate the impression of the wine but rather that the wine is a statement of the earth. The vines are tended by hand with meticulous attention to every detail. The result is a quality wine, soft and pliant with flavors of ripe plum, chocolate and mint.

This year we are offering our award winning 2017 and 2018 Cinque Bordeaux Blend.
